About Me
My first encounter with therapy was many years ago as a client and from this experience I know how transformative the work in therapy can be. I also know how talking about personal issues can be demanding, painful and challenging, whilst ultimately healing.
I am a qualified counsellor with several years' experience in working with people with a range of issues. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework.
I trained as an integrative counsellor at ReVision in London and have undertaken a post-graduate qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice at Minster Centre, London (completion in Summer 2020).
My training means I integrate different theoretical models into the way I work including psychodynamic, transpersonal psychotherapy, neuroscience and creative approaches helping us think together about your experiences. I work with awareness of trauma and its impact on the body.
With a background as a communications consultant, I have worked in high pressure environments and understand the real-life challenges of the workplace which can sometimes trigger anxiety, depression and addictive behaviours. My understanding of the professional world can support you with your career challenges and development.
