The experience of being listened and understood in counselling and psychotherapy can be life changing. Sometimes talking to trained person you don’t know brings a new sense of freedom.

There can be times when you feel unable to cope with past or present situations which may be difficult to talk about with friends or family. Holding onto these concerns may affect how you interact with other people, including in your working life and generally how you feel about yourself.

With the aim of reducing your pain and anxiety, talking about what you are experiencing can help to restore your sense of wellbeing.

I provide a non-judgemental, safe and confidential space where you can talk openly about your feelings and where we can explore ways to find better understanding and wellbeing. I use a number of recognised approaches tailored to suit your preference or individual needs.

I work with adults (over 18 years of age) who have experienced issues including stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, self-harm, abuse, neglect, shame, grief, anger and relationship difficulties.

I have significant experience working with people who have experienced anxiety, childhood trauma, living with cancer and in helping them to find a greater sense of self and resilience.
